Anti-Semitism

EDM number 510 in 2012-13, proposed by John Mann on 12/09/2012.
Categorised under the topics of Religion and faith communities and Religious discrimination.

That this House notes the report of the All-Party Parliamentary Inquiry into Anti-Semitism; further notes that explicitly anti-Semitic materials are available for download via the amazon.co.uk website; believes that books like The Myth of the Extermination of the Jews should be available for academic study in their proper context and not widely available for a download cost of 77 pence; further believes that more can and should be done by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to regulate the distribution and propagation of such dangerous material; and calls on Amazon to remove dangerous anti-Semitic and racist material from its site and post appropriate warnings about potentially inflammatory and harmful materials.

This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs.
