That this House congratulates Andy Murray on his outstanding victory in the US Tennis Open; recognises that this is the first time in 76 years that a British male tennis player has won a Grand Slam title; pays tribute to his talent, dedication and hard work and that of his support team; further recognises the immense contribution he has made to this tremendous `Golden Summer' for British sport; and calls on his fantastic achievement to be recognised through the award of a knighthood for his contribution to tennis and British sport.
