That this House notes that the 2012 Morecambe Seaside Festival took place on 1 and 2September; further notes that this was the biggest event in Morecambe for over a decade with 25,000 people attending, featuring the Red Arrows and entertainment from Dalton, The Reggie Mental Band, Twenty-Four Seven, Katy Pickles, The Hustles, Amy-Jo Clough and the Remix Pop Choir; believes that this is a major achievement and a significant step forward for the town; and congratulates all involved in this important community event.
