That this House notes with concern the practices of private benefit checks firms who offer no-win, no-fee checks of people's benefit entitlement but who can claim up to half of any benefit payment or backdated money the person receives; urges improved publication of the fair, impartial and free advice provided by many local Citizens Advice offices; and calls on the Government to take action to stop the spread of these firms which prey on vulnerable people.
