Mutual Interest And Credit Unions

EDM number 1180 in 2012-13, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 13/03/2013.
Categorised under the topics of Financial institutions, Financial services and Loans.

That this House believes that the gap is too great between the rates of interest allowed to be charged by credit unions and the rates and charges commonly charged by high street lenders; and calls for the upper limit for small short-term credit union loans to be raised to 3 per cent a month.
