That this House congratulates Cedric Robinson of Grange-over-Sands on his achievement of serving the visitors to, and people of, Morecambe Bay for 50 years as the Queen's Guide to the Sands; notes that over the past 50 years Cedric has walked every inch of the sands in this notoriously dangerous bay; further notes that groups of up to 500 people make their way to Arnside every spring and summer to experience one of Cedric's famous walks across the bay; welcomes the news that despite celebrating his 80th birthday this week he has no plans to retire; and calls on people from across the South Lakes and the UK to celebrate this milestone with Cedric and go along to Arnside to experience one of his tours for themselves.
