That this House recognises the serious problem that exists in many communities surrounding the misuse and abuse of fireworks; supports limiting the sale of fireworks to legitimate organisations and individuals; encourages the stricter enforcement of existing laws regarding the restrictions on the sale of fireworks to minors; and recommends minimum pricing to reduce the inappropriate use of fireworks.
