That this House congratulates the Glasgow Evening Times on its campaign to Stand Up for Glasgow; notes that the city suffered a post-industrial slump in the 1980s; recognises that Glasgow in now a confident, outward-looking, economically regenerated city following 13 years of investment; and demands that the coalition government does not force Glasgow to shoulder an unfair portion of excessive cuts to be announced in the Comprehensive Spending Review.
