That this House notes with concern that Yemen has been the target of recent terrorist attacks aimed at creating unrest; further notes that a stable and prosperous Yemen will help ensure a stable Middle East and that there is a continued need to combat terrorism through preventative measures both at home and abroad; urges the Government to recognise the value of partnership working, particularly through increasing contact between British and Yemeni parliamentarians; and calls on the Government to build on the work of Friends of Yemen by setting up a British-Yemeni taskforce to support Yemen to move towards its goal of stability.
