That this House wishes the Scottish Commonwealth Games team, recently announced, the best of luck; expresses the House's full support for the team; considers the games in Delhi in October 2010 will provide an excellent platform to promote sport in Scotland; acknowledges that the athletes have all been chosen for their hard work and dedication to their sports; hopes that a team full of such potential can inspire more people to take up sport in Scotland; and notes the Games will pave the way for the event taking place in Glasgow in 2014.
