That this House celebrates the 10th Otley Walking Festival, held from 26 June to 4 July 2010, as an important social and cultural event that emphasises and reinforces the importance of exercise and nature for community and individual well-being; applauds the 26 June launch of the Six Dales Trail, a 39 mile course with a range of treks and routes for all levels of walkers, as a community asset that enables all local residents to enjoy the benefits of exercise in the outdoors; and wishes the Otley Walking Festival many more decades of success promoting walking and cultivating appreciation for our natural environment.
