That this House commends Shelter Cymru's Information Matters to Rural Communities Project, which aims to improve awareness of services to alleviate homelessness and poverty, being run in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire; welcomes the funding provided by the Big Lottery Fund; recognises the lack of readily available advice and support in rural areas and the additional stigma attached to these issues in rural communities; further welcomes the distribution of 3,000 information packs containing advice on housing, debt, welfare benefits, rural well-being and contacts to obtain specialist advice in the three counties; and congratulates Shelter Cymru for the important work it has donein ensuring people in rural areas are able to access all the help available.
