That this House welcomes the research carried out by the RAC 2010 Report on Motoring into views and behaviour of modern motorists; recognises ways in which Government can work with motorists to improve the quality of motoring in the UK including considering a lower drink-drive limit, ensuring return on investment for motorists through improved local road conditions and stronger law enforcement against those breaking the law and jeopardising road safety; notes the decline in motorists' concern about the environmental impact of driving and their ability to reduce the impact; and furtherrecognises there is work to be done to empower and educate motorists to make environmental choices easier and more effective.
