Police Numbers In London

EDM number 351 in 2010-12, proposed by Virendra Kumar Sharma on 29/06/2010.
Categorised under the topics of Employment and Police.

That this House believes the Metropolitan Police Authority and Mayor Boris Johnson must reverse their decision to cut 455 police officers in London; further believes that Boris Johnson's failure to guarantee the future of the capital's 630 dedicated safer neighbourhood police teams puts the safety of Londoners at risk; and is concerned that cutting the number of police officers in London threatens to undermine the vital work of the police and communities in making the streets safer.

This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
