60th Anniversary Of Portsmouth And Duisburg Twinning

That this House congratulates Portsmouth City Council and Duisburg City Council on the 60th anniversary of the cities' twinning; remembers that in 1950 both cities were severely damaged by war; and recognises that to establish such an Anglo-German link was a brave and honourable act which has strengthened both countries' understanding and friendship.
