That this House congratulates Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce on the success of the first Edinburgh Business Awards; welcomes the Awards as a way of recognising some of the city's most promising businesses and the work they do; congratulates the Chamber of Commerce on using the Awards to raise money for local charities; looks forward to the Awards building on the success of the first event; commends Edinburgh Airport on winning the Employer of the Year award 2012; and further welcomes the role Edinburgh Airport plays in the local economy and community through its contribution of more than 83,000 to local charities as well as achieving a turnover of 110 million in 2010-11.
