That this House congratulates Stuart Lancaster for his performance as interim England manager during England's strong showing in the 2012 Six Nations; notes that under his leadership the side won four out of five games, including three away games, for the first time in the history of the Six Nations; further notes that he has brought through a number of young players, demonstrating good judgement and vision for the future of the national side; considers that it is time for the national side to once again have a permanent manager who can direct English rugby's direction and strategy in the long-term; and calls on the Rugby Football Union to appoint Stuart Lancaster to the position permanently with immediate effect.
