That this House congratulates Hazel Rushton of Milnthorpe, who beata field of over 1,700 marmalade makers from all over the world to be crowned the best amateur marmalade maker and Best in Show at the World's Original Marmalade Awards and Festival 2012; recognises the economic and social value that small artisan producers add to rural communities; acknowledges the important role of festivals, such as the aforementioned, in supporting small artisan producers; wishes Mrs Rushton future success with her consequent distribution deal at Fortnum and Mason in London; and calls on the Government to do more to support the trade of small artisan producers and gain better access to the market.
