Travel Insurance For People With Secondary Cancer
EDM number 2778 in 2010-12, proposed by Graham Stuart on 27/02/2012.
That this House notes the unaffordability of premiums charged by many travel insurance firms to cancer patients or people with a history of cancer treatment; regrets that travel insurance can often be more expensive for cancer sufferers than the total of all other travel costs combined; celebrates the fact that more and more people are surviving cancer and living longer; and calls on the Government and insurance companies to work together to ensure that those who survive cancer are not prevented from living their life to the full.
This motion has been signed by a total of 31 MPs.
