St Patrick's Day

EDM number 2760 in 2010-12, proposed by Jim Dobbin on 22/02/2012.

That this House deprecates the ill-judged, inaccurate and offensive comments made by Boris Johnson with regard to a St Patrick's Day event; anticipates that the electorate will take these comments into account in the London mayoral elections of 3 May 2012; commends the London Irish newspapers Irish World and Irish Post for their opposition to the comments; and supports the forthcoming St Patrick's Day celebrations in London and throughout the country.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
