That this House congratulates Leeds Rhinos on being crowned 2012 world champions after defeating Manly Sea Eagles 26-12 at Headingley Stadium on 17 February 2012; praises both teams for producing a fantastic game of rugby league which was a great advert for rugby league in both the Super League and theNRL; commiserates with Manly who put up a great fight, but congratulates themon being crowned NRL Grand Final champions; commends Leeds Rhinos on winning their third world crown, equalling the number of wins achieved by both Wigan and Bradford; notes that this comes on the back of Leeds Rhinos becoming the most successful rugby league team in the Super League era with five Grand Final victories; recognises the huge effort the players, coaches and backroom staff at Headingley have put in in achieving this; and looks forward to further fantastic games between topSuper League and MRL sides more regularly.
