EDM number 2564 in 2010-12, proposed by Michael Crockart on 10/01/2012.

That this House congratulates the Corstorphine Dementia Project's Tea Time Club on being awarded the first Degge Ridge award from the Royal London Foundation; notes that this year's award focused on a community project which supports the elderly; recognises that the Tea Time Club is an excellent example of a community working to fund and run a service to provide first-class support to dementia sufferers and their carers; further notes the positive impact this project has on the community; and further notes that this award will help to secure the financial future of the Tea Time Club which has until now been wholly funded by the local community.
