That this House expresses sadness at the death of Scottish comedy star Steve Robertson MBE; believes that he will be remembered with great affection as one-third of the Scotland The What? with William `Buff' Hardie and George Donald; acknowledges his great contribution to the comedy revue act which was a North East of Scotland institution; notes he was awarded Freedom of the City of Aberdeen in 2008 for services to the fine arts, the Doric language, north east of Scotland culture,promotion of the city and for makin' a'body laugh; recognises his work in championing student welfare issues as a former Rector of the University of Aberdeen, from whom he received an honorary degree; and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.
