Use Of Peroxide In Hairdressing

EDM number 2454 in 2010-12, proposed by David Morris on 22/11/2011.
Categorised under the topics of Industrial health and safety and Service industries.

That this House notes a number of recent tragic cases of people injured and even killed by peroxide hair products; further notes that these injuries are entirely preventable without banning the products; believes that having all qualified hairdressers properly registered will further enable the industry strongly to encourage purchasers to have the product applied only by professionals; and encourages the Government to consider the statutory registration of all professional hairdressers.

This motion has been signed by a total of 3 MPs.
