That this House recognises that construction is a major employer in all constituencies and that a vastnumber of jobs within the industry are still under threat; and calls for a comprehensive plan, backed by policies on taxation that promote enterprise and growth, that will maintain construction commitments in programmes such as education and infrastructure renewal to achieve long-term national economic benefits whilst ensuring people remain in work.
