That this House notes the importance of arts events in promoting the work of local artists; congratulates the organisers of and participants in Dorset Art Weeks (29 May to 13 June 2010) 10th biennial event; notes it is reputedly the largest open studios event in the country; and further notes the wide variety of exhibits were displayed at 334 locations across Dorset and that the event is not only a showcase for talented Dorset artists but also enables visitors to discover the delights of Dorset's countryside and towns.
