That this House welcomes the decision by the Welsh Assembly Government to honour its pledge to retain the coach concessionary travel scheme for journeys that begin in Wales; acknowledges that the concession currently available to people with disability or those over 60 years in England and Wales has liberated many of these people; notes that in 2010 over three million journeys were made by passengers using the scheme; and calls on the Government not to cut the Bus Service Operator Grant on 31 October 2011 and maintain its commitment to concessionary bus travel in England.
