Bt Phone Books And The London 2012 Olympics

That this House is astonished that the cover of the new BT London Central phone book, featuring the logos of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, has the slogan Backing Britain for Generations under its own logo; observes that the phone book is printed in Spain; recalls with disapproval that in April 2006 BT, formerly British Telecommunications, transferred the printing of all 171 different telephone directories from the UK to a Spanish company, with the loss of scores of printing jobs in the UK; and believes that BT should prove by actions rather than words that it does back Britain and British workers by once again having its phone books printed in the UK.
