Currency Accepted On The Eurostar

EDM number 2129 in 2010-12, proposed by David Morris on 05/09/2011.
Categorised under the topic of Railways.

That this House notes that the Eurostar has dropped its proposal to stop accepting pounds onits services; further notes that this was due to outrage expressed by British customers; believes that in a time of instability across Europe having an independent currency is beneficial to both Britain and the Eurozone; and implores Eurostar management never again toattempt to disadvantage UK citizens who value their currency.
