That this House welcomes the coalition Government's commitment to give patients control of their health records; considers that any decision to continue to allow updating of patients' details to the Summary Care Record (SCR) System is inconsistent with this commitment; and calls on the Government to halt all SCR updates, effective immediately, pending its promised comprehensive review of NHS IT systems.
