Recognition Of Rugby League As A Level Three Sport By The Commonwealth Games Federation

That this House welcomes the recognition of Rugby League as a level three sport by the Commonwealth Games Federation; congratulates those involved in the bid from the Rugby Football League and the Rugby League International Federation in creating a compelling and successful bid; praises the Commonwealth Games Federation for their unanimous decision; hopes that Rugby League will secure a presence at future Games and will be recognised as a truly international sport; and supports all those involved in their work with the regional Commonwealth Games association on development projects.
