Exomars Expedition From Leicester To Mars

That this House applauds the ambitious project lead by scientists at the University of Leicester to search for signs of life on Mars aboard the European Space Agency's ExoMars spacecraft in 2018; recognises the significant contribution made by the UK to this project through the legacy of Beagle 2 in 2003; welcomes the contribution made by the British satellite company Astrium in constructing the ExoMars rover Bridget; wishes the best of luck to the bigger Aurora mission of the European Space Agency aimed at exploring the wider solar system; celebrates the 50th anniversary of space research at the University of Leicester; and wishes the institution many more successful years ahead.
