That this House recognises the vital role of black and minority ethnic (BME) voluntary and community organisations in giving voice to and providing services for disadvantaged BME communities; is disappointed that Voice4Change England will lose Office for Civil Society (OCS) strategic partner funding and status from April 2011; notes that there is no representation from equalities organisations in the OCS strategic partners transition programme; is concerned that without any equalities representation at a strategic level the voice of the BME voluntary and community sector will not be heardand the needs ofdisadvantaged BME communities will not be met; further recognises the valuable work of Voice4Change England in providing voice and support for the BME voluntary and community sector and speaking togovernment on its behalf; and calls for the reinstatement of Voice4Change England as an OCS strategic partner.
