Repair Of The War Memorial In Heysham By Edf Energy Apprentices

EDM number 1388 in 2010-12, proposed by David Morris on 01/02/2011.
Categorised under the topic of Energy.

That this House notes the damage to the War Memorial Plaque in Heysham as a result of an attempted theft in May 2010; further notes that the apprentices of the Heysham power stations voluntarily repaired the plaque to help alleviate some of the stress of the bereaved families; thanks the individuals concerned, Josh Thornton, Josh Garthwaite, Damien Murphy, Matthew Grannell, Andrew Dugdale, James Hodgson, Shaun Bibby, Richard Docton, Tom Cunliffe, Stuart Lane and Gavin Beckett; further thanks their instructors Edward Case and Kevin Demain; and hopes that others from across the country will learn from the good example these young men have set.
