That this House recognises that a stable and prosperous Yemen will help ensure a stable Middle East and that there is a continued need to combat terrorism through preventative measures both at home and abroad; congratulates this and the previous Government on the 105 million worth of development aid pledged between 2008 and 2011; welcomes the Prime Minister's recent message to the hon. Member for Leicester East recognising the importance of pooling expertise and considering parliamentary and business avenues for providing further support; supports the sending of airport security equipment to Sana'a Airport by March 2011; and calls on the Government to promote partnership working through setting up a British-Yemeni taskforce.
