That this House congratulates secondary schools in Leicester East for the increase in their GCSE pass rates last summer; recognises the improvement in results of Rushey Mead School, Soar Valley College and City of Leicester College; praises the hard work by the city's teaching staff who continue to make a contribution to young people in Leicester; and calls on the Government to continue to invest in education projects such as Building Schools for the Future and education maintenance allowance that facilitate education achievement in Leicester.
