That this House salutes the bravery of the armed forces serving in Afghanistan and records with sorrow the deaths of Sergeant Peter Anthony Rayner, 2nd Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, aged 34 from Bradford, Corporal David Barnsdale, 33 Engineer Regiment, aged 24 from Tring, Sapper William Bernard Blanchard, 101 (City of London) Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), aged 39 from Gosport in Hampshire, Senior Aircraftsman Scott `Scotty' Hughes, 1 Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment, aged 20 from North Wales, and Ranger Aaron McCormick, aged 22 from Coleraine in County Londonderry.
