That this House recognises the significant business potential of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games; notes that the Department for Culture, Media and Sport estimates that the total value of contracts connected to London 2012 is £6 billion; applauds all efforts to support small businesses across the UK in reaping the benefits of the Olympic and Paralympic Games; and welcomes the pledge by Lloyds Banking Group to make £1 billion of new loans available to those firms across the UK bidding for Olympic and Paralympic-related contracts.
