Involvement Of A Great Britain Soccer Team At The London 2012 Olympic Games

EDM number 63 in 2008-09, proposed by Adrian Sanders on 03/12/2008.
Categorised under the topic of Sports.

That this House notes with concern that the issue of a British football team for the 2012 Olympics has not yet been resolved; further notes that the Home Nations' tournament would be a popular resolution to this problem, and that the use of such a tournament has a precedent in determining qualifiers for both world cups and European championships; and calls on the Government to liaise with the respective football associations in bringing forward such a solution.

This motion has been signed by a total of 3 MPs.
