That this House congratulates the Parliamentary Secretary to the Cabinet Office, the hon. Member for West Bromwich East and the Minister for Further Education, the hon. Member for Birmingham, Erdington, for using British-built Ministerial cars; recognises the importance of supporting UK manufacturing, particularly during the current economic downturn; and urges other Ministers to follow their lead and support the UK vehicle manufacturing sector by setting an example in buying British.
