That this House fully endorses the sentiments expressed by President Obama in his inaugural speech as 44th President of the United States on 20 January 2009 when he said that the United States is a `friend of each nation and every man, woman and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity'; is encouraged by President Obama's assertion that his administration is `ready to lead once more'; and looks forward to the United States normalising diplomatic relations with Cuba, Iran and North Korea and working positively to help restore the full return to the international community of these states so that their citizens can enjoy the benefits of friendly international relations.
