That this House notes the results of the Times Education Student Experience Survey published on 15 January 2009 which identified Aberystwyth University as offering the best all round university experience in Wales; congratulates Aberystwyth on being placed eighth out of the 101 universities surveyed across the UK; notes that in the `I would recommend my university to a friend category' Aberystwyth achieved the second highest score in the UK; recognises the huge importance of the university to the North Ceredigion economy; and commends students, university staff and local residents for the Town and Gown ethos which has operated for many years.
