Keib Thomas

EDM number 505 in 2008-09, proposed by Mark Williams on 19/01/2009.
Categorised under the topics of Religion and faith communities and Voluntary organisations.

That this House recognises the outstanding contribution to the community made by Keib Thomas over 27 years in Southwark before his tragic and untimely death in July 2007; notes that while he spent much of his life in Southwark he never lost touch with his Ceredigion roots; acknowledges particularly the work done by Keib in fostering inter-faith relations in Southwark; and welcomes the commissioning of a life-like bronze bust of Keib in Chumleigh Gardens in Southwark, which will act as a fitting memorial to his work and serve as an inspiraiton to others.
