That this House notes with concern the use by British citizens of the medicinal product Melanotan; notes that this product is unlicensed and should not be currently advertised or on the market; calls on the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to increase public awareness of the possible dangers of Melanotan; and further calls on MHRA to ensure that individuals supplying Melanotan online to consumers within the United Kingdom are punished accordingly under medicines legislation.
