That this House condemns the swingeing cuts in public services being made by the Conservative council in Hammersmith and Fulham, including the outsourcing of the contact centre to Rochdale; congratulates the officers and members of the local Unison branch in playing a key role in defending public services in the borough; notes the council has derecognised the local elected officials of the Unison branch; is appalled at Hammersmith and Fulham council for its treatment of the elected Unison branch officers; further notes that the branch is now balloting for industrial action; and calls on Hammersmith and Fulham council to abandon its cuts and anti-union practices and concentrate on providing high quality public services to its residents.
