Home Education (No. 2)

EDM number 2112 in 2008-09, proposed by Bob Spink on 20/10/2009.
Categorised under the topic of Local authorities: education.

That this House notes with concern the lack of funds available to charitable and third-party organisations assisting in the education of home-schooled children; further notes the additional learning activities these organisations can provide that may not be available in the home, such as pottery, metalwork and woodwork, textiles and sport; and calls on the Government to make funds available through local authorities so this group is not disadvantaged.

This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
