Carers Film In Ceredigion

That this House congratulates Chris Carbin, Richard Jackson, Cathrin Howells, Chris McMullen, Vasco de Sousa and Helen Park, MA students from the Department of Film and Media at the University of Wales, Lampeter, for their work on a film showing the experiences of carers in Ceredigion; acknowledges the warm reception given to the film by carers in Ceredigion when it was shown as part of Carers Week; notes the outstanding level of research and background work undertaken to produce the film; further notes the importance of the film in showing the difficulties faced by carers in Ceredigion and in particular the need for respite care; hopes the film will have a lasting impact on the future of caring in Ceredigion; and wishes the students well in their future work.
