That this House acknowledges the achievements of the Ceredigion Carers Charter, now in its tenth year, in ensuring that the rights and needs of carers are respected; welcomes the progress that has been made in incorporating the rights outlined within the Charter within the work carried out by statutory agencies and voluntary groups in Ceredigion; recognises the importance of the role played by carers in all communities; and encourages the continuing work of the Ceredigion Carers Alliance in pursuing the goals mapped out by the Charter.
