That this House congratulates the Peterhead Hot Spot on its successful reaching out project which led to the development of new facilities for the community; recognises that the facility acts as a one stop shop for information and advice on a range of issues including housing matters, money issues, health and wellbeing, and steps to employment and educational opportunities; notes the initiative has received the Best Team Award from the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities; and commends the work of Hot Spot volunteers providing free and confidential advice, information, support and advocacy on a wide range of issues for people in Peterhead and the surrounding areas.
