Conduct Of The Hon. Member For Banff And Buchan And Kosovo
EDM number 985 in 2007-08, proposed by Jim Devine on 20/02/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Members of Parliament and Western Europe.
That this House calls for a formal apology from the hon. Member for Banff and Buchan for his ill-informed and outspoken condemnation of NATO action to protect the Kosovan people from Serbian aggression, describing NATO action as unpardonable folly; notes that the SNP were unable to recognise that a dictatorship engaged in ethnic cleansing warranted international action; and further notes that the SNP stood alone in its condemnation of NATO action with all other UK political parties supporting the action.
This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
